The 2022 Rogue to Feature New 1.5-Liter Vc-Turbo Engine

For the 2022 model year, the Nissan Rogue will come equipped with an all-new 1.5-Liter Variable Compression (VC) Turbo Engine, along with a new generation Xtronic Continuously Variable Automatic Transmission, making it even more powerful, and fun to drive!

The 2022 Nissan Rogue will deliver an amazing 201 horsepower, and 225 lb-ft of torque, thanks to its new 1.5-Liter VC-Turbo Engine, that’s an increase of 11% and 24% increase respectively, when compared to the 2021 Rogue! In addition, the new generation Xtronic Continuously Variable Automatic Transmission will provide a 17% wider gear ratio, and 32% lower friction (than the previous transmission).

Nissan new VC-Turbo in Production

The 2022 Nissan Rogue will be offered in four trim levels: S, SV, SL and Platinum. All models will also be equipped with the new 1.5-Liter Turbocharged Engine and all paired with the new Xtronic Continuously Variable Automatic Transmission! The new VC-Turbo Engine will be build at the Nissan Plant in Decherd, Tennessee.
